Peace Corps

It's official! Last week I accepted an invitation to serve in the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso as a small business advisor. I will be in Washington, D.C. September 25-26, 2006, then I fly to Africa where I'll be in training in Burkina Faso September 27-December 15, 2006. After training I will be assigned to a community where I'll serve 2 years (December 15, 2006 - December 15, 2008). I will be packing, wrapping up my personal affairs and spending time with family and friends for the next 8 1/2 weeks. Hopefully I will be able to update this site regularly so my family and friends can share in my journey over the next 2+ years, so check back when you can to follow along.
